A peek inside our home away from home on Kauai, Hawaii…
Though we didn’t stay on the Westin Princeville‘s resort grounds too much, it was an amazing place to recover from the day. Our villa opened up to a personal sitting area, an infinity pool and hot tub. I think we got lucky with the proximity! We’d end our evenings soaking there before heading back in. My favorite part of the villa was the Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed. After a great shower (or bath!) I would completely knock out on it. The design of the place is meant to be home-like, since many of them are timeshares.
When we stayed at the St. Regis, we were given a tour and timeshare presentation. While I don’t think owning a timeshare is our thing right now, we ended up buying into a year here, and it was so worth the trip back. Plus, as a Starwood SPG member, we received a ton of points from it for a future trip.
So, yes! It felt great to have a kitchenette and washer/dryer. It really did feel like we were living on Kauai for the time we were there. We were comfortable and had close access to the food markets and the St. Regis beach, next door.
