Trieste
When we first arrived to Trieste, it looked like we weren’t in Italy anymore. The architecture here seemed more Austrian than Italian. Over the years, Trieste has be a cosmopolitan city with changing rule from Roman, Austro-Hungarian and now Italian. I believe that’s the beauty of this central port town — the culmination of cultures. We spent a little time walking around its streets, dropping into the boutiques, and sitting in its bustling cafes for aperitivo.
I discovered Kiko Milano, an Italian cosmetics store with the cutest products. I definitely picked a few things for myself for the rest of the trip. After some gelato from Grom, we settled in the Piazza Unita D’italia and people watched over our spritzes. There were a lot of wedding shoots happening in the square. It was simply delightful.
