Thessaloniki Part I
Places to see from above and below…
Welcome to the second major city in Greece. It has a vibrant student community and ancient sights are interwoven all over the streets. Fifteen of them are UNESCO Heritage sites! There’s plenty of creativity and emerging artists at every corner. It is historically the most multiethnic city in Europe with a past of Byzantine, Ottoman, Roman and Sephardic Jewish reigns. Part I will be about the sights and what you can experience simply by walking around. Parts II and III will include the arts and food!
