Driving back up to the French side of the island, we made it just in time to watch the sunset. We found ourselves on a jetty, just taking in the pleasant scenery. When the ball of fire started to dip lower and the sky burned, I ended up what seem like a hungry/sunset dance on the beach, lol.

Grand Case is known for its strip of the best restaurants on the island. You can find some of the best French flavors here. Walking around, we ended split between two very fine establishments, right across from each other. A quick look on my TripAdvisor app showed one was actually ranked #1 — so, decision made. We went into Bistrot Caraibes with a bon soir and happily ordered. Andy went for the Caribbean lobster, picking it out from the fountain at the front of the restaurant, and I decided to the seared tuna special, since I had lobster the day before. For our starter, we ordered the sautéed scallops + shrimps in garlic butter. And... I had my glass of rosé. Yep, indulging….

Just as we were satiated and started to walk to the parking lot for our car, we stumbled upon La Crepe en Rose. It was the most adorable crepe truck, and since we’re on holiday, why not!? Plus, we did skipped dessert…. We ordered he sweet and salty caramel to split. It was honestly one of the best crepes I’ve had in my life. I wanted to keep going back!

xx
