This season’s favorite outfit building blocks and the pieces I rewear way too often.
High Waisted Bottoms
Whether it’s high waisted jeans or trousers, I’ve come to love wearing the higher waistline during the colder months — in fabrics of denim, velvet, faux suede and leather! The higher waistline really accentuates the smallest part of your waist and elongates the look of your legs. Its perfect under a chunky knit or with statement blouse.
When winter whites and teddy coats meet. Something that I consider a staple in my coat closet this winter. I cannot seem to stop wearing this boucle version (in photos) since purchasing it. In addition, I just ordered the fluffiest shearling jacket for elevated everyday wear. I’m obsessed with this furry coat, as well, and just can’t seem to get enough.
An essential in my yearly cold weather wardrobe edit. I love how easy it is to put one on with some boots and you’re out the door. This year, I’ve given this maxi version a try by a new-to-me designer MARYLING. The zipper makes it daring (if you’d like) and adds a little something. Otherwise, I always opted for shorter hemmed turtleneck versions, as they are so snuggly.
Bringing my love for winter whites into this category as well. I love this white pair of on-the-knee boots this year. It’s the perfect height between OTK and knee highs. Also, I finally got myself a pair of white shearling-lined combat boots for the season. I feel so ready for the inclement weather!
