CITY LIFE. Since the resort was about an hour and a half drive from San Juan, we rented a car to get us back and forth. I just loved exploring the restaurants and sites in Old San Juan. Because we only made it out there during the evenings, we only saw the eery glow of the old city. Full of mystery, it seemed more exciting to explore the town at night. Dragonfly and Marmalade (highly recommended) are the two restaurants we dined in. Also on the list is Budatai, which is in the Condado area of San Juan. In addition to the local flavor, fusion and Asian Latin cuisine are quite popular.
