Boy do I have a story for you guys! Last month, I did my first photoshoot (ever!) with Glam and Cotton: The Fabric of Our Lives®. The whole experience was surreal, both exciting and nerve-wracking. Even though I do personal outfit shoots for the blog, this was a whole new level to take on. I started early in the morning with a chauffeur, who took me from my apartment to the studio. A girl could really get used to this :)
Once I was on set, it was hair, makeup and nails time — getting the works done. Oh my gosh, my hair never looked so good. I had some extensions put in for extra volume, oomph! My makeup? Smokey. I loved my look so much. I felt like a kid in a candy store, feeding on ultra girly girl candy.
Before I reveal the final shots, I want to talk about my favorite part, the clothes. Initially, I thought I would be wearing something casual like a t-shirt & jeans, but my wardrobe blew me away. For me, wearing cotton always meant comfort and breathability. After the photoshoot, it meant major style and attitude. I’m all about looking good without the pain. Getting both fashion and comfiness is such a pleasant surprise and super perk. You just need to know where to look!
I was put in two different looks under the trend color, cobalt. It was like they read my mind. Cobalt blue has become one of my favorite colors to wear. It just seems to look so good with my skin tone. They also nailed down my personal style to a T. Did I mention I got to keep the clothes?!
My first look was a very fun and flirty one. I instantly fell in love. If there was one outfit that described me, this would be me.
OUTFIT ONE:
My second look was a little different. It was chic, sophisticated and delightful with a huge surge of blue. I can easily go from work to play in this ensemble.
OUTFIT TWO:
The two photos below are taken by Channing‘s mom! I love how they came out.
I’ll admit, I was a little nervous posing but everyone was very encouraging! I had such an amazing time with everyone. Thanks so much to Cotton + Glam for an unforgettable time <3

P.S. I think I will be putting more behind-the-scenes pics and the shots that didn’t make the final cut on my Facebook page!
