Right after relishing in the waters of the Blue Lagoon, we headed over to the capital city, Reykjavik, and got ourselves settled at the Loft Hostel Iceland. I’ve never stayed in a hostel before, and Iceland was full of them as well as quaint b&b type of places.

We stayed in a private room together. Typically, hostels (to my knowledge) usually consists of multiple-bed dorms, but this one had the option of a private room. The fresh decor and modern made staying there really easy going. The staff, too!

There’s a bar and cafe downstairs in the main lobby and WiFi! Being in Iceland with no service was pretty brutal (#firstworldproblems) and everywhere we went the WiFi strength was always so weak.

Anyways, here’s our cute little place for the stay in Iceland.

Loving the blue accents.  Felt like everything in Iceland so far has been blue toned.

We are just so happy to be in Iceland right now…

The view from the room window. I loved that it was snowing?! Snow just looks so much better in another country, especially Iceland.

I’m blue, too. There’s just so much blue happening.

P.S. The hostel’s location was pretty perfect for both shopping and nightlife. We were right in the middle of both!
