Makris Gialos
It was so nice to have a break from the cloudy and stormy weather that we faced in Croatia. Nothing but sunshine, beautiful waters and amazing glasses of island grown rosé. We just basked on the beach, Makris Gialos. Between our billowing cabana and dips in the sea, the day just melted away along with our travel stress. Just when you think the world is so big, it becomes so small. We met a fellow New Yorker while floating in the water. Little moments like this are so funny.
Diana Taverna
We decided to lunch by the water in Argostoli at Diana Taverna. A homey place serving comfort food was just what we were craving after spending a day exploring the island and wine tasting at the Robola Wine Cooperative. We ordered a Greek salad to start and shared a grilled seafood platter. Food always seems to taste better when you’re traveling.
