Winter Cut + Color
Entering a new season with a color refresh and a new haircut is exactly what the doctor ordered.
Thanks to the team at the José Eber Salon, I came out brand new. There’s a fabulous Beverly Hills location and a recently opened Short Hills one, where I went. The first thing I noticed walking into the salon, was the decor. It was so beautiful and glam inside. I knew I was in for a treat. Here’s how the day went…
Consultation with José Eber
It’s not everyday you get a personal consult from a world famous hair guru. He suggested that I get layers to contour my cheeks and add volume to my roots. He also recommended to refresh my hair color with highlighting and toning. This was awesome because it was getting so brassy since my last color in September.
So, I started with Megan, the Master Colorist, with a mix of balayage highlights to blend my roots and some lowlights for dimension. We went cooler tone and a bit darker for the winter months. Afterwards, I got a cut by the Yoav, the salon’s Creative Director and got rid of a lot of dead weight.

Before & After
Here’s a look at the change. My hair felt so much lighter after the cut! We kept the length and added shorter layers all around. The hair color came out amazing! I love the ashier tones and added highlights. My roots were growing out so quickly so the balayage helps it blend better as it grows out.
I feel so refreshed and ready for the new season!
Thanks to José Eber for the experience.
