He likes the bitter, and I like the flavorful spices. He’s into coffee, and I’ll opt for some chai tea. The above blends may not make much sense to you, but they are the special tea leaves blends we’ve created, based on our taste preferences, with the help of Lipton Tea Master, John Cheetham. We were at our first tea tasting party last week at an old Chelsea favorite, The Park. Lipton crafted a menu of drinks and dishes made with their teas. My two favorites are the Bavarian Wild Berry Cosmopolitan (recipe) and Mahogany Scallops with Lipton Mandarin Orange Sauce (recipe). I also found out that there are so many tea flavors available from Lipton, like the Vanilla Caramel Truffle!
Committed to sustainability, Lipton teas are Rainforest Alliance certified. From now until March 31, you can enter to win a trip to Kenya + $25,000 by entering a code on specially marked Lipton boxes. Find out more about the Caring for Communities program and sweepstakes at Lipton Cares.
