I like to dream the biggest dreams. Sometimes I am living those dreams. My stay here was one of those times. After a few nights at my Airbnb apartment, I switched over to the Grande Bretagne. This makes my first Luxury Collection stay with Starwood. I wanted to really maximize my Gold level membership. It was definitely a treat after facing some plumbing issues in my previous living quarters. Living in The States, you take things like advanced septic systems for granted. Anyways…. Let’s talk about this grandeur room and property. I love the old world charm and decadence exuding from every detail in this place. Every morning, I would wake to for breakfast on the rooftop with an impeccable view of the Acropolis. I love to watch Athens wake up from my own little balcony, with views of Mt. Lycabettus and the Parliament. With the metro station right across the street, I couldn’t get any more central than this place.
I do wish I could’ve have spent a little more time exploring the hotel and the city…
