Skip Cancun, and drive out about an hour and a half to Tulum, home to beautiful white sand beaches and Mayan archaeological ruins. Spend a day, spend a week. Grab una agua de coco from one of the vendors en route to this gorgeous cliffside wonder.

Who knew that after my first visit to Mexico (Cancun, Isla Mujeres), that I would return within months! The second time around I was determined to see Tulum, since I didn’t have enough time the first time around. Though, I only had a day here (with my mom!), I was so happy to be here. It was a stop on our cruise. More on that soon.

For now, here are some postcard shots from our trip. As we’re emerging from winter’s hold, these sunny photos are giving me life!
