Thanks to Viator, I got a front row ticket to Couture Fashion Week at the Crowne Plaza in Times Square. Viator is a TripAdvisor company that offers a wide variety of travel experiences and exclusive access to many sights/events. I love that there’s something for everyone, including a fashion-lover’s event like this.

The weather has been crazy this fashion week. Since it was chilly and rainy that evening, I went for darker colors and fall accessories.

Couture Fashion Week

Through Viator, I attended Couture Fashion Week‘s Day two evening show — Secret Garden by Andres Aquino. I looked around from front row and saw the venue buzzing with guests dressed to the nine’s snapping photos of each other. I even saw a selfie stick! The runway was graced with glamorous evening wear that I could easily imagine on the red carpet. What was so special about this fashion show, was the musical performances interlaced between the looks.

Performers included Tomaczek Bednarek, Meredith O’Connor, Stella Matteoni, Kaja Pecnik, Vicky Shu, Luciano Lamonarca, and Elisabetta Russo. I really enjoyed both the saxophonist, Karla Sax, and harpist, Arami, performing throughout the night. At the end of the show, Andres presented the Global Fashion Awards to winning model and designer of the season. The prize was a trip to the Dominican Republic, where Andres hails from. It was all such positive vibes, lighting up such a rainy night.
