A few days ago, I was invited by Clinique to celebrate the launch of their newest product, the Pep-Start eye cream at Daybreaker. I was SO excited because I literally found out about Daybreaker in London about a week before and wished that we had it here in New York, too. Wish came true, my friends!

So, what is Daybreaker…?

An early morning rave designed to kick-start your day. They partnered with Clinique to celebrate #PepStart so everything was orange-themed! Yep, the party started at 7am and NYC turned up! (see below)

And, what is Clinique Pep-Start?

Basically, the only thing besides coffee making you look awake. There is nothing worse than tired-looking eyes in the morning. It just makes your overall look seem droopy. Clinique’s Pep-Start is a lightweight eye cream that contains peptides that will brighten and hydrate the area around your eyes.

To prep for the morning rave, I added Pep-Start into my routine. Cleanse, moisturize, Pep-Start and then makeup. It was really easy to apply, and absorbed instantly so I can quickly move onto my next tasks. I love the bright orange color and round applicator tip. It added a nice soothing effect as I rolled it around my orbital bone. By the time I was out the door and in my Uber, the effects had already taken place. At least I looked awake and ready for the world at 6am!

This will actually be the perfect addition to my travel beauty bag. The eye cream will help me look alert for those early morning flights and fix me up after a long-haul.

Here’s How the Party Went

If I could describe it in one word… ENERGETIC!

I’ve been so devoted to skincare and working out these past few months. When you take care of your face and body, you feel SO much better about everything. When you feel good, you look good! The positivity is contagious. There I was bright-eyed and all perked-up (from the triple shot coffee drink), I took to the dance floor. There were also Clinique beauty stations for quick wake-ups and a whole line-up of performers. It’s true what they say — an early workout is the best way to start your day. You will running on endorphins all day!

Glow sticks. NY Knicks cheerleaders. DJ Hannah Bronfman.

Oh, did I mention there was a fire dancer….
