Brunch Style // Crop Top, Leatherette Skater Skirt

outfit from MISSGUIDED
MODERN EDGE. New York’s brunches are always so much fun. With that in mind, I put together a look that combines classic colors with edgy and feminine characteristics. The black and white palette is still going strong for me, and today’s outfit is accompanied by gold details in the accessories. The first piece that really drew me in was the white leatherette skater skirt. It is the perfect balance between my girly nature and rocker tendencies. This summer was I determined to finally wear a crop top and this bandage-style one was just perfect. It adds a nice sultry factor into the entire feel of my look. The rest of my outfit fell together naturally. The laser cut clutch with studs and the ring/bracelet piece with spikes made the outfit just tough enough. And… this season’s hottest shoe silhouette? Minimal strappy sandals! I love the chain details on this pair.

As I was shopping for the look on the site, I honestly had such a hard time choosing. There are so many great pieces that I would love to wear. Many of the items are trendy, youthful and bold. I’m really excited that the UK fashion shop is launching here. There’s just something extra cool about the fashion across the pond.

P.S. Styling a crop top with a high waisted skirt is a great way to show some skin without the full commitment. Someone actually thought I was wearing a dress that day!

    • Hi Kayla. The top I got a M/L and the skirt is a size 8. The site has a US version and the sizes are converted, so I would go with what you normally take.
