Blue Gingham

With a basket of sunshine, I can’t seem stop wearing this dress! A quick post about my latest obsession — this twirly smocked gingham dress in blue.

I didn’t realize how much I would love this dress I casually saw on sale on the J. Crew site. Even when I tried it on for the first time, I didn’t think it would be a hit. I must have had an off day because when I wore it out for the first time, I didn’t want to take it off, ever. It’s the perfect summer dress, fitted yet breezy enough to stay cool. I know I’ve been on the gingham train this season, but you don’t let go of a good thing now, do you? Since it’s meant to be a beach dress, the fabric is on the lighter side. I think that’s a plus with the right nudes underneath :)

Also, how fun are these earrings? Initially, I wanted the all-white, but the rose gold combo adds more excitement and flair!
