 Mexico

Skip Cancun, and drive out about an hour and a half to Tulum, home to beautiful white sand beaches and Mayan archaeological ruins. Spend a day, spend a week. Grab una agua de coco from one of the vendors en route to this gorgeous cliffside wonder.

Who knew that after my first visit to Mexico (Cancun, Isla Mujeres), that I would return within months! The second time around I was determined to see Tulum, since I didn’t have enough time the first time around. Though, I only had a day here (with my mom!), I was so happy to be here. It was a stop on our cruise. More on that soon.

For now, here are some postcard shots from our trip. As we’re emerging from winter’s hold, these sunny photos are giving me life!

  • Tulum is awesome! It’s definitely worth the trip, it also took me until my second time to see it. Love the pictures!

    • Thanks!! I now know why people keep returning. It’s incredible.

  • That water is just so beautiful I can’t stop staring at the colours! I’ve seen a few mentions of Tulum around the place, if I only I were closer to visit myself.

    • Where are located? You might be closer even more gorgeous places! :)

  • Looks great. Haven’t been there, I have been to the Tourist infested places like Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel (and also on the totally opposite side of Mexico, Puerto Vallarta). Tulum looks great and the next time I go to Mexico I will defo go there :)

    • Yeah, I’ve def been in some touristy areas! I do want to go to the other side of Mexico, soon. Perhaps, Cabo?!
