I have a terrible itch to break out my Spring wardrobe already! There’s only about 3 weeks left until it’s officially here, but its still pretty bleak and cold outside. I like to channel all this energy into shopping and making a wishlist for the upcoming season. I’ve been really loving ALL the trends I’ve been seeing, especially the ombre or dip-dye look. As I was shopping at Target and putting together this look, I thought to myself, “I’m going to look like a box of macarons!” It could the excitement of a Spring outfit, or I was really in the mood for some treats.
I went into the store looking for my key piece: dip dye _________. I didn’t even have to walk in more than a couple steps into the junior/women’s department to find this hot pink sweatshirt. Without much hesitation, I kind of knew that it was meant to be. I mean, it had me at pink. The rest of the outfit came together seamlessly as I browsed around. I did have to decide on the color of the jeans; it was between the aqua and lavender. Both were great pastels. The necklace was a last minute addition to the outfit, borrowed from my friend Nubia. I loved how the colors in the necklace pulled together the entire look and added a touch of girly.
The prices of everything I bought were so reasonable that it was hard to not shop more beyond the outfit. Both my top and bottom were under $30 each and my flats were around $15! I really love finding trendy clothing and shoes at awesome prices. I’m pretty sure I will be returning soon to see new spring items.
This is the first post of many in my new Spring Style series in collaboration with Target. I love shopping there for everything, so I’m very excited and thankful for this partnership. Stay tuned for the next one!
